Glen Cossey

Glen is a Chartered Professional Structural and Civil Engineer, and as one of Markplan’s Principal Engineers, he is involved in many facets of the projects that the Markplan team works on - from concept through to detailed design and construction. Glen can be contacted early on in a project’s planning stage to add engineering input and generally Glen will be one of the Markplan team to provide input into your project in the early stages, including working through the scope of work to establish fee structures with you.
Glen became an engineer primarily as a means to help people, and enjoys assisting them with the various challenges the New Zealand building industry presents. Finding practical solutions is what Glen thrives on, and he relishes the opportunity to do this in the Markplan environment.
Glen enjoys the challenges and rewards of working at Markplan but is also kept busy outside of office hours with his wife and two young children, working around his house in Huapai, playing and making music and exploring what New Zealand has to offer, be it on a mountain bike, in a boat or some other way! Glen also enjoys cooking, especially using fruit and vegetables he has grown, and sharing meals with friends.
