India joined Markplan at the end of 2021 as a student intern and swiftly moved to being part of our team of Engineers at the start of 2022 after completing her Bachelor of Engineering degree at Auckland University.
India is a keen skateboarder and also passionate about her role as a coach to young girls wishing to take up the sport. She loves the outdoors and you will find her either surfing on a west-coast beach, hiking in the bush, or in the winter speeding down a snowy mountain on her snowboard. We haven’t seen her yet on Baldwin Street with her skateboard, but don’t put it past her!
India currently lives on a lifestyle block in Dairy Flat where she enjoys trying her hand at a bit of DIY. One of her recent projects involved designing and building a half-pipe skate ramp in the backyard. She likes being surrounded by the farm animals her family keeps, including sheep, pigs and ducks, but strictly as ‘friends’ and not food!
She is looking forward to learning lots of new skills at Markplan and contributing to the engineering and construction industries.
