Larissa hails from that exciting city that many of us would love to visit - Rio de Janeiro! She left Brazil at the age of 12 to come to New Zealand as an exchange student at Westlake Girls High School to perfect her English. However, she loved it so much here that she decided to extend her visa and has been here ever since, recently completing her Bachelor of Engineering degree at Auckland University of Technology, soon after which she joined Markplan Consulting.
Larissa is enjoying all the challenging work that she is now able to contribute to with the wide variety of projects undertaken at Markplan. She has embraced the ethic of sustainability and loves being amongst nature, be it at the beach or hiking around the country.
She loves learning new languages and meeting people of different cultures, and during her spare time she also enjoys being creative with her digital art skills, and then letting off steam at the beach where swimming and surfing are some of the water sports that draw her to the sea.
If an office trip to Rio is perhaps not on the cards, maybe at Carnival time we might be able to convince Markplan to let us all dress us in elaborate costumes for a fantastic photo opportunity. I’m sure Larissa will be able to give us some guidance and encouragement.
