Born in Rotorua, Titoki (aka Tee) has called Auckland home for the past two years and is loving life in the city. With a background in draughting and civil technician/engineering roles, he joined Markplan to broaden his experience and to have a more positive impact on the projects he works on.
What he values most about Markplan is the knowledge we share. Also the civil & structural collaborative team environment makes his work more rewarding after a few years’ experience.
For Titoki, his role carries deeper meaning. He hopes to inspire rangatahi, or the next generation, to the profession of engineering. He is passionate about driving positive change within Māori communities and wants to gain more knowledge so he can share it with his closer community and mentor his children to bring the industry more Māori engineers.
Outside of work, you’ll find him surrounded by whānau, spending time with his two sons, or keeping active as a fitness fanatic.
