Vivienne joined Markplan as a Senior Structural Engineer in July 2022, and brings with her 7 years’ experience. She was born and raised in Wellsford and currently lives on a lifestyle block on her parents’ Wellsford farm. Working for Markplan in Albany has reduced her commute considerably, but when you can retreat to a beautiful haven in the countryside at the end of a hard day’s work, the commute fades into insignificance.
Vivienne loves brainstorming solutions with design teams and then seeing the structures and buildings that she has engineered come to life. She is very much looking forward to sharing her experience and increasing her knowledge working with Markplan’s team of competent civil and structural engineers.
Weekends are often spent on DIY projects around their home and they also enjoy entertaining friends and travelling when time permits. Vivienne and her husband, who is in the construction industry, have a young daughter named Orla, who obviously gets the best of both worlds with a country upbringing, but she can also enjoy what the city has to offer as she grows older when it is only an easy car-ride away.
It looks like the number of Markplan Team members living on lifestyle blocks is now officially a trend!
